This full-time, hybrid opportunity in Dallas, Texas offers a compensation range of $70,000–$80,000 for the right legal collections professional.
About the Role
As a Collections Specialist with a growing Dallas law firm, you will own the end-to-end collections process, ensuring invoices are followed up promptly and receivables are recovered efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who already understands the rhythm of a legal practice and can step in with proven experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and pursue collection of outstanding client balances on behalf of the firm.
- Monitor aging accounts and follow up consistently to reduce overdue receivables.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve payment matters.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all collection activity and account status.
- Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to support the firm's billing operations.
Qualifications
- Prior or current law firm or legal collections experience is required for this role.
- A demonstrated track record of successfully collecting on outstanding balances.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling account information.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfort working in a hybrid schedule based in Dallas, Texas.
