Licensed Psychiatric NP

Headway is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in West Side, Worcester County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychiatric care within a supportive, integrated healthcare environment.

What This Role Involves

In this position, you'll focus on delivering comprehensive psychiatric care in an integrated healthcare setting. You'll conduct thorough assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and provide both medication management and therapeutic intervention for patients across the lifespan. Working collaboratively with our clinical team, you'll ensure coordinated care that addresses each patient's unique mental health needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications with appropriate monitoring and follow-up
• Provide therapeutic interventions and evidence-based counseling techniques
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as clinically appropriate
• Participate in clinical supervision and professional development activities

Qualifications

• Current, active Nurse Practitioner license
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing or related clinical field
• Demonstrated psychiatric or mental health clinical experience
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations with complex mental health conditions
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
