About This Position
As a Physical Therapist at our hospital, you'll deliver specialized rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. You'll develop and lead evidence-based treatment plans that help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence. This full-time position includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus and the chance to work within a collaborative healthcare environment that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Perform therapeutic exercises and manual techniques to restore function and reduce pain
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions based on clinical outcomes
- Document patient care, treatment responses, and functional improvements in medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation specialists on patient goals
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate comprehensive care
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Kansas physical therapist license or ability to obtain one
- Pass a background check and health screening
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
- Experience in acute rehabilitation or hospital-based settings preferred
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
