About the Role
As a Service Technician at our Vacaville location, you'll be at the heart of our operation, delivering quality maintenance and repair services to our customers' vehicles. You'll work directly from service orders, using your diagnostic expertise to identify issues, plan repairs, and execute them to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on customer vehicles using proper tools and techniques
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Test and inspect repaired systems to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about repair needs and progress
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly document all service performed
What We're Looking For
- Current ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification
- Current Ford technician certification
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician in a professional shop or dealership environment
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems, repair procedures, and diagnostic methods
- Ability to follow technical manuals, service bulletins, and manufacturer guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work full-time hours
