About the Role

As a Board‑Certified Veterinary Dermatologist, you will join a leading dermatology network that emphasizes clinical excellence, innovation, education, and collaborative case management. The part‑time schedule allows flexibility while maintaining a high standard of patient care within a supportive specialty practice.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive dermatologic examinations, including history taking, physical assessment, and diagnostic testing such as cytology, fungal cultures, and biopsy.
• Design and implement treatment plans for allergic skin disease, autoimmune disorders, infectious dermatoses, and neoplasia.
• Conduct intradermal allergy testing and formulate allergen‑specific immunotherapy regimens.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities including laser surgery, cryosurgery, and advanced topical or systemic therapies.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and communicate findings clearly to pet owners and referring veterinarians.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to clinical research or quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with veterinary dermatology literature and attend continuing education events to enhance clinical expertise.

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACVS‑ or ECVD‑approved residency in veterinary dermatology and current Diplomate status.
• Valid state veterinary license to practice in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure).
• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic dermatology procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client education and collaborative teamwork.
• Commitment to evidence‑based medicine and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to work effectively in a part‑time capacity while maintaining consistent, high‑quality patient care.
