Sr. Finance Manager, Manufacturing Operations

GE Aerospace is hiring a Sr. Finance Manager, Manufacturing Operations for its Hooksett, Merrimack County facility, where you will serve as a key financial partner to plant leadership and help shape manufacturing strategy through data‑driven insight. This is a full‑time position.

About the Role

In this position you will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting for manufacturing operations, ensuring that costs, budgets, and forecasts align with business objectives. You will work closely with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support capital investment decisions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain annual operating budgets and quarterly forecasts for manufacturing sites.
• Perform variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and present actionable insights to plant managers.
• Support month‑end close processes, ensuring accurate recording of inventory, labor, and overhead costs.
• Analyze product cost structures and drive cost‑reduction initiatives across the value chain.
• Assist with capital expenditure evaluations, including ROI calculations and risk assessments.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls in compliance with GE policies and GAAP.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve financial systems, streamline reporting, and enhance data quality.
• Mentor junior finance analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning within the finance function.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive finance experience, with a strong background in manufacturing or operations.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build influential relationships with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks; experience with SOX compliance is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including coaching and developing team members.
