ADSIS Interventionist Teacher, 0.8 FTE, 2026-27 school year

Detroit Lakes Public Schools seeks a dedicated ADSIS Interventionist Teacher for Rossman Elementary School, serving students in grades K–6 during the 2026-27 school year. This 0.8 FTE position provides a meaningful opportunity to support struggling learners and drive measurable academic growth through targeted, evidence-based interventions.

About the Role

The ADSIS Interventionist Teacher works with elementary students who require additional academic support beyond core classroom instruction. You'll design and deliver personalized interventions in reading and mathematics, monitor progress using formative and summative assessments, and partner with general education teachers to ensure coordinated, coherent learning support. This position is based at Rossman Elementary School within Detroit Lakes Public Schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess student needs using multiple data sources and deliver targeted interventions aligned with district priorities
• Conduct frequent progress monitoring and adjust instruction based on student response data
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core instruction
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and intervention effectiveness
• Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and school leadership about student growth
• Participate in professional learning and contribute to building-level improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Elementary Teaching Licensure required
• K–6 teaching experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in reading and/or mathematics intervention delivery
• Strong proficiency with data analysis and student assessment practices
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting all learners and advancing educational equity
