Parexel is hiring a Medical Director, Oncology / GI Subspecialty for our Archer, Laramie County office. This full-time role offers medical leadership across oncology and gastroenterology clinical research programs on a global scale.
About the Role
You will serve as Medical Director overseeing our oncology and GI subspecialty clinical research initiatives. In this medical leadership position, you'll direct medical operations, protocol strategy, and safety oversight for a diverse portfolio of clinical development programs.
What You'll Do
- Direct medical strategy and clinical oversight for oncology and gastroenterology research programs
- Lead development and optimization of clinical protocols to meet regulatory and scientific standards
- Collaborate on feasibility planning and compound clinical development strategy
- Oversee medical monitoring, safety assessment, and pharmacovigilance activities
- Ensure regulatory compliance throughout all phases of clinical research
- Guide and mentor medical teams supporting oncology and GI therapeutic areas
- Drive innovation in cancer research and gastroenterology clinical development
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified physician with medical expertise in Oncology and/or Gastroenterology
- Extensive background in clinical trial management or pharmaceutical research and development
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Proven ability to lead medical teams and drive research strategy
- Expert-level protocol development and medical safety monitoring experience
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities
