About the Role
This full-time position combines technical expertise with fieldwork that makes a real difference. You'll deploy lightning protection systems on residential, commercial, and industrial properties, traveling throughout North Salt Lake and surrounding areas. Every day brings new sites, new challenges, and the satisfaction of installing safety systems that matter.
What You'll Do
- Install lightning rods, grounding systems, and bonding conductors on rooftops and throughout buildings
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal system placement and design configurations
- Measure, fabricate, and position materials according to electrical codes and engineering specifications
- Test completed installations to verify proper grounding, continuity, and system performance
- Coordinate with electricians, contractors, and property owners to ensure seamless integration
- Maintain accurate records of installations, system configurations, and equipment specifications
What We're Looking For
- Experience with electrical installation, construction, or related hands-on technical work
- Solid understanding of electrical codes, grounding systems, and safety standards
- Physical capability to work at heights, climb ladders, and perform demanding installation work
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation for traveling between job sites
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams
