About the Role
Swyfft is reimagining how property and casualty insurance gets priced, underwritten, and serviced. As a Territory Sales Manager covering New Jersey and New York, you'll drive revenue expansion by building relationships with agents and customers while overseeing sales operations in your territory. You'll partner with a technology-forward team committed to delivering rapid policy issuance and responsive customer service.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute regional sales strategy to meet and exceed territory targets for home insurance, flood coverage, and commercial package products
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of insurance agents and sales professionals
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, brokers, and distribution partners in your territory
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with product, underwriting, and operations teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and customer support
- Conduct training and ongoing coaching to develop agent competencies and sales skills
- Report on territory performance, pipeline activity, and forecasts to senior leadership
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of sales management experience in insurance or financial services
- Proven track record building and leading sales teams to hit ambitious targets
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, underwriting processes, and distribution channels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- Willingness to travel within the territory as needed
