Aya Healthcare is recruiting a Travel Physical Therapist for a full-time assignment in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. This 13-week contract begins August 10, 2026, with competitive weekly compensation of $2,223–$2,452 and a traditional day shift schedule.
About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist with Aya Healthcare, you'll deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in a patient-focused Oak Bluffs healthcare setting. Your five 8-hour days each week provide consistent patient care for individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. You'll conduct functional assessments, develop personalized treatment protocols, and guide patients through therapeutic interventions designed to restore mobility, strength, and independence.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and functional assessments to inform treatment planning
- Design and implement individualized therapeutic programs using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches based on functional outcomes and goals
- Document patient evaluations, treatment notes, and progress in compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical team members to coordinate integrated patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home exercise programs
