About the Role

As a Lead or Senior Business Analyst on Cognizant's Healthcare team, you'll take ownership of high-impact projects that modernize healthcare systems and improve operational efficiency. What You'll Do

  • Develop comprehensive vision documents and solution designs collaboratively with solutions architects and technical leads to secure client sign-off and project alignment
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions with healthcare stakeholders, distilling complex operational needs into clear, prioritized specifications
  • Partner with the data migration team to architect and oversee migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, system readiness, and minimal disruption to operations
  • Review and validate project scopes of work with internal teams, ensuring feasibility and alignment with client expectations and timelines
  • Identify process improvements and deliver strategic recommendations that optimize healthcare workflows and system performance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating between business objectives and technical capabilities

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience as a business analyst, with proven expertise in healthcare domain knowledge and Facets systems experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of leading data migration projects from strategy through execution and validation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complexity for both executive and technical audiences
  • Experience with requirements management, solution design, and project delivery in regulated healthcare environments
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation and attention to detail in documentation and specifications
