Travel Cath Lab Tech – $2,313 to $2,506 per week in Houston, TX

Aya Healthcare is hiring a Travel Cath Lab Tech for an onsite position in Galena Park (Houston area). This is a full-time, temporary contract role running for 13 weeks, starting July 27, 2026, with competitive compensation of $2,313–$2,506 per week.

About the Role

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech and contribute directly to patient outcomes in a high-performing cardiac catheterization facility. You'll work alongside experienced physicians and nursing staff to support complex cardiac procedures, combining technical precision with patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical environment.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and sterilize catheterization equipment and instruments before each procedure
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout procedures, communicating changes to clinical staff
• Maintain sterile field integrity and follow strict infection control protocols
• Position patients appropriately and adjust equipment for optimal visualization
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging equipment and related technology
• Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records
• Support post-procedure patient care and equipment cleanup

Shift & Schedule

Rotating shifts, 4 days per week × 10 hours per day. This onsite position is not remote—you'll be working in the hospital facility.

What We're Looking For

• Current Cath Lab Technician certification or equivalent credential
• Minimum one year of hands-on cath lab experience
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and equipment operation
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical settings
• Excellent communication skills with physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and procedure complexity
