About the Role

As a Build Engineer in our turbomachinery division, you'll bridge design and production, ensuring reactor components meet rigorous performance and safety standards. You'll work directly with cross-functional teams to assemble, test, and validate critical systems that enable portable, long-duration power delivery. Your work supports Radiant's mission to provide rapid-deploy nuclear power solutions that can replace conventional generators in remote and critical-need locations.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and integrate turbomachinery and reactor subsystems according to engineering specifications and quality standards
• Conduct testing and validation of components and assemblies, documenting results and identifying improvement opportunities
• Support manufacturing process optimization and troubleshooting to meet production timelines and quality targets
• Collaborate with senior engineers and design teams to refine build procedures and resolve technical challenges
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations and safety protocols
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and cost-effective manufacturing approaches

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (2026 graduate or recent graduate)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing, assembly, or build processes
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to safety in a regulated environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
