Radiant Industries is hiring a full-time Business Development Associate in Washington, D.C. to help expand the reach of breakthrough portable nuclear technology and connect mission-critical power solutions with the organizations that need them most.
About the Role
As a Business Development Associate at Radiant Industries, you will play a central part in growing demand for our portable nuclear microreactors. Based in Washington, Washington, D.C., this role blends relationship-building, market research, and strategic outreach to advance partnerships across government, defense, and commercial sectors that depend on reliable, deployable power.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and qualify prospective customers and partners interested in rapid-deploy nuclear power solutions.
- Support the development of proposals, pitch materials, and outreach campaigns tailored to each stakeholder.
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across public and private organizations.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities within the energy and microreactor landscape.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to align business goals with technical capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and pipeline progress.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology into clear value.
- Demonstrated interest in business development, sales, partnerships, or related commercial functions.
- Self-directed work style with the organization to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving startup setting.
- Comfort engaging stakeholders across government, defense, and commercial markets.
- Enthusiasm for clean energy, advanced nuclear technology, and Radiant's mission.
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, Washington, D.C.
