About the Role
We're seeking an experienced HVAC service technician to deliver expert heating, cooling, and air conditioning solutions to residential customers throughout the region. This is a year-round, full-time position offering competitive compensation ranging from $30 to $45 per hour based on your experience and qualifications, plus performance-based incentives. As part of our commitment to recruiting experienced talent, we're offering up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioning units, and heat pumps
- Install new heating and cooling equipment in homes, ensuring proper setup and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive inspections to extend system lifespan and optimize performance
- Test and calibrate HVAC components using proper diagnostic tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and develop solutions that meet customer needs
- Maintain safety and compliance standards, including EPA refrigerant handling and certification requirements
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues, repairs, and maintenance needs
- Keep detailed service records and complete documentation of all work performed
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a residential HVAC technician
- Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC problems efficiently and professionally
- Current EPA certification or willingness to obtain it
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
