About the Role

As a mobile veterinarian, you'll deliver professional, dignified care directly to pets throughout Inverness, Spring Hill, Hernando, Masaryktown, Istachatta, Brooksville, and surrounding Hernando County communities. This family-owned practice specializes in hospice services, in-home euthanasia, and respectful aftercare, allowing you to focus entirely on patient comfort and supporting families through life's most difficult transitions.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct in-home veterinary assessments and end-of-life consultations
  • Provide compassionate in-home euthanasia services with full attention to the pet-family relationship
  • Develop and manage personalized hospice care plans
  • Offer aftercare guidance and coordinate respectful memorial options
  • Build meaningful relationships with pet families during vulnerable times
  • Maintain comprehensive medical records and ensure clear, empathetic communication
  • Travel throughout your service area to provide accessible, convenient veterinary care

What We're Looking For

  • Active veterinary license in good standing in Florida
  • Experience or demonstrated passion for hospice and end-of-life veterinary care
  • Compassion, patience, and emotional intelligence when supporting grieving families
  • Ability to work independently within diverse home environments
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Hernando County
  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to clinical documentation
