ServiceNow, Inc. is seeking a Director, Strategic Initiatives to lead transformative business initiatives from our Chicago location in the Illinois Medical District. In this full-time role, you'll drive strategic projects that shape the company's competitive positioning and accelerate digital reinvention across the enterprise.
About the Role
The Director, Strategic Initiatives will develop and execute enterprise-wide strategic programs that align with company objectives and market opportunities. This is a high-impact leadership position for an experienced strategist ready to influence corporate direction, lead cross-functional execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes at scale.
What You'll Do
- Define, develop, and drive execution of strategic initiatives that accelerate business transformation
- Partner with executive leadership to identify strategic priorities, build business cases, and establish accountability frameworks
- Create roadmaps and implementation plans for major strategic programs across the enterprise
- Assess market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions
- Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and adoption of strategic initiatives
- Build and mentor teams responsible for executing complex strategic programs
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in strategic planning, business development, or corporate strategy
- Proven success leading large-scale enterprise initiatives with measurable business impact
- Strong analytical and financial capabilities; ability to develop compelling business cases and financial models
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Background in enterprise software, technology, or digital transformation preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field; MBA a plus
