About the Role
In this position, you'll provide hands-on service and maintenance for commercial HVAC systems throughout the New York City area. You'll diagnose equipment failures, execute repairs, and ensure that complex commercial cooling and heating systems operate reliably for our customers. This is on-site, field-based work where your technical skills directly drive customer satisfaction and system performance.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, controls, and mechanical components
- Respond to service calls and perform preventative maintenance on customer systems
- Troubleshoot refrigeration cycles, electrical controls, and complex system issues
- Install and replace components within commercial HVAC installations
- Document all work completed and maintain detailed service records
- Work alongside sheet metal installers, piping mechanics, and project managers on larger jobs
- Manage time effectively across multiple service locations throughout New York City
What We're Looking For
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
- Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics
- Solid foundation in heating, cooling, and refrigeration principles
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field service work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Professional communication and customer service orientation
