About the Role
You'll be the trusted voice delivering weekend sports coverage to viewers throughout the Springfield region. This role blends on-camera anchoring with the flexibility of modern multimedia journalism—reporting, producing, and distributing sports stories across every platform your audience uses to stay informed about local athletic competition.
What You'll Do
- Anchor weekend sports broadcasts with accuracy, energy, and credibility
- Report and produce original sports stories using video, photography, and digital publishing tools
- Cover local high school, college, and professional sports events in Greene County and beyond
- Create and manage content for web, mobile, and social media platforms
- Develop enterprise sports stories that resonate with your community
- Work closely with news and production teams to maintain editorial excellence
What We're Looking For
