About the Role
This is a physician leadership opportunity within Pima Heart and Vascular, created by the retirement of a long-standing cardiologist. You'll step into an established practice with the ability to rapidly build your patient panel while working alongside experienced colleagues committed to evidence-based cardiology.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive cardiac evaluations and diagnose cardiovascular conditions
- Manage non-invasive diagnostic modalities including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with a wide range of cardiac pathologies
- Provide ongoing patient consultations and follow-up care coordination
- Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with clinical standards
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease
- Valid Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in non-invasive cardiac diagnostics and patient management
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a group setting
