About the Role
As a Residential High Value Insurance Appraiser at EXL in Rutland, VT, you will serve as a trusted field professional within our Castle High Value and EXL Risk Control practices. This on-site role focuses on evaluating high-value residential properties so that commercial and personal lines carriers can underwrite policies with confidence, accuracy, and speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field appraisals and on-site inspections of high-value residential properties throughout the Rutland County area.
- Gather, measure, and document property details, conditions, and replacement-cost information to support carrier underwriting decisions.
- Prepare clear, well-organized reports that meet EXL's standards for quality and turnaround time.
- Apply risk control insight to identify hazards and factors relevant to residential insurance coverage.
- Coordinate scheduling and communicate professionally with homeowners, agents, and client carriers.
Qualifications
- Experience in property appraisal, inspection, risk control, or a closely related field within the insurance industry.
