About the Role

As a Commercial Insurance Inspector with EXL Risk Control, you'll operate as a self-directed independent contractor, working from your own home or office while completing onsite inspection and survey assignments. Most work is based in the Lansing, MI area, with additional assignments located within roughly a 100-mile radius. This is a full-time, in-person field role serving Ingham County and the surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites throughout the Lansing region to perform commercial property surveys and inspections
• Gather, document, and report accurate inspection findings for insurance clients
• Manage your own schedule and route while servicing assignments across an approximately 100-mile area
• Meet client expectations for quality, accuracy, and timely completion of each assignment
• Communicate professionally with clients, property contacts, and EXL stakeholders
