MANAGER OF SAFETY TECHNOLOGY&INNOVATION

Compass Group, North America is hiring a full-time Manager of Safety Technology & Innovation in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, to lead the technology-driven advancement of workplace safety across one of the country's largest foodservice and support services organizations.

About the Role

As the Manager of Safety Technology & Innovation, you will shape how Compass Group identifies, evaluates, and deploys emerging tools that protect associates throughout its operations. Based in Charlotte, this on-site position blends safety expertise with a forward-looking, innovation-first mindset, helping translate new technology into practical, scalable programs that keep people safe at work.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, assess, and recommend new safety technologies and innovations that strengthen associate well-being.
• Lead the rollout of safety tools, platforms, and processes across Compass Group's diverse business units.
• Partner with operations, risk, and field teams to align technology solutions with real-world safety needs.
• Track performance data and measure the impact of safety initiatives to guide continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of proactive safety, awareness, and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in occupational safety, risk management, or a closely related discipline.
• Familiarity with safety technology, data systems, or innovation programs in a large, multi-site environment.
• Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives end to end.
• Clear communicator who can influence stakeholders at every level of the business.
• Availability to work on-site in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County.
