About the Role

As a Special Education Teacher with Epic Special Education Staffing, you will work directly with students in Country Club Hills who require individualized support. This is a full-time, in-person assignment for the upcoming school year, with a standard commitment of approximately 30 hours per week. Eligible educators who complete their full school-year assignment can earn a $2,000 completion bonus, and there is the opportunity to earn up to $3,000 through referral bonuses. Both local and travel options may be available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver instruction aligned to each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate a range of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and update IEP goals as required.
  • Partner with families, general education staff, therapists, and support teams to coordinate care.
  • Foster a structured, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid special education teaching certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Illinois.
  • Experience working with students who have varied disabilities and learning profiles.
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Availability to commit to and complete a full 2026–2027 school-year assignment of roughly 30 hours per week.
