About the Role
As a Quality Control/Customer Care Technician with DSLD Homes, you will serve as the company's "internal customer," reviewing each property before homeowner orientation to confirm it meets our standards. Based in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, this is a full-time, on-site position with a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough internal quality control inspections across the Shreveport/Bossier City area to verify each home meets DSLD Homes' quality benchmarks.
- Evaluate mechanical, electrical, structural, and finish trade work for compliance and craftsmanship.
- Act as an "internal customer," assessing each home before the homeowner orientation takes place.
- Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective work so issues are resolved prior to handoff.
- Support a positive customer care experience by ensuring homes are completed correctly the first time.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of residential construction trades, including mechanical, electrical, structural, and finish work.
- Sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot quality and workmanship issues.
- Dependable and able to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.
- Solid communication and organizational skills to document findings and follow through on corrections.
- Comfortable working on-site at locations throughout Shreveport/Bossier City, LA.
