About the Role
This Travel Physical Therapy Assistant position places you within an established therapy team in Great Barrington, supporting patients through recovery and mobility goals under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The assignment runs 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts and a scheduled start date of July 20, 2026. It is a full-time, on-site travel role.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist to advance each patient's recovery.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and prescribed rehabilitation activities.
- Track patient progress and report observations and outcomes to the care team.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment for safe, effective sessions.
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with clinicians, patients, and families.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license appropriate for practice in Massachusetts.
- Prior experience working as a PTA, as this is positioned as an experienced therapy assignment.
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to Great Barrington for the duration of the contract.
