About the Role
This is a full-time travel position within the Therapy discipline, structured around a 40-hour work week and 8-hour shifts across the 13-week duration. As a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant, you will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitation programs that help patients restore mobility, build strength, and regain independence in the Winterhaven and greater Yuma area.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by supervising Physical Therapists to advance each patient's recovery goals.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and prescribed interventions.
- Track patient progress and report observations and outcomes to the clinical team.
- Set up and maintain treatment areas and therapy equipment for safe, effective sessions.
- Adapt quickly to the workflows and standards of a new facility, as is typical for travel assignments.
Qualifications
- Active, valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license.
- Proven hands-on experience working as a PTA.
- Availability to commit to the full 13-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule starting 07/06/2026.
- Flexibility and reliability suited to a travel therapy environment.
