About the Role

As a travel Physical Therapy Assistant with Centra Healthcare Allied, you'll work in a dynamic clinical setting delivering hands-on support to licensed physical therapists. This full-time assignment runs for 13 weeks with a daytime shift schedule—4-hour shifts, 20 hours per week. Travel positions with Centra Healthcare Allied offer the flexibility to build experience across diverse patient populations and treatment methodologies while establishing your clinical foundation.

What You'll Do

• Assist physical therapists with patient care, exercise instruction, and mobility support
• Document patient progress and observations with accuracy and attention to detail
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities under PT supervision
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment to clinical standards
• Communicate patient updates and progress to the clinical team
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Support clinic operations and maintain a safe, sanitary patient environment

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification as required by Kansas regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
