The John Hall Law Group is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury/Workers Compensation Paralegal to join our team in Bowie, Prince George's County. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced plaintiff's practice and takes pride in moving cases forward with precision.
About the Role
As a Personal Injury/Workers Compensation Paralegal at The John Hall Law Group, you will take ownership of an active plaintiff's caseload, supporting attorneys from intake through resolution. We are looking for someone who brings at least three years of hands-on experience handling personal injury and/or workers' compensation matters and who can keep complex files organized, accurate, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and advance a plaintiff's personal injury and workers' compensation caseload from start to finish
- Maintain detailed, well-organized case files and track key deadlines
- Coordinate communication with clients, medical providers, and opposing parties
- Prepare and process documentation in support of case progress and resolution
- Adapt smoothly to evolving processes and procedures within the practice
Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience managing a plaintiff's personal injury and/or workers' compensation caseload
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Unquestionable integrity and a high standard of professionalism
- Self-discipline, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to adjust to changes in workflows and procedures
