Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze drill cuttings and core samples to identify rock types, lithology, and formation characteristics
  • Maintain detailed well logs and mudlog reports throughout drilling operations
  • Track drilling parameters, wellbore conditions, and hydrocarbon shows in real time
  • Communicate findings with drilling engineers, operators, and geology teams to support operational decisions
  • Conduct sample examinations using visual and microscopic techniques
  • Maintain field equipment and ensure accurate data documentation and quality control

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in geology or related earth science discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong observational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work extended or rotating shifts in a field environment
  • Willingness to learn mud logging techniques and drilling operations fundamentals
  • Reliable transportation and availability for onsite well locations
