The Opportunity

As Vocational Education Program Director, you will drive the vision and execution of career-focused learning programs that prepare students for skilled trades, apprenticeships, and postsecondary success. This full-time leadership role offers the chance to shape vocational pathways, mentor faculty, and directly impact student outcomes across multiple technical disciplines. Working 209 days annually under the BASAS Group 9A contract, you'll serve as a key instructional leader within English High School's administrative structure, reporting to the Headmaster.

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-wide leadership and strategic direction for all vocational and career pathway programs serving grades 9–12
  • Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and continuous improvement of career-technical learning experiences
  • Support and evaluate vocational faculty and program instructors in instructional excellence and student engagement
  • Build and maintain partnerships with employers, community colleges, and workforce development organizations
  • Monitor student progress, achievement, and post-secondary outcomes within vocational programs
  • Lead program evaluation, data analysis, and reporting on student performance and program effectiveness
  • Collaborate with school leadership on resource allocation, budget planning, and strategic initiatives
