About the Role
As a Summer Camp Teacher at SPECIALIZED RG, you'll be the heart of the camp experience. You're responsible for designing and delivering memorable activities—both educational and recreational—that keep children engaged, active, and excited to learn. You'll build positive relationships with each child, manage group dynamics with patience and enthusiasm, and ensure every day contributes to their growth and development.
What You'll Do
- Plan and lead age-appropriate learning and recreational activities for children ages 8–15
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels safe and valued
- Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on experiences
- Supervise children throughout daily activities, transitions, and interactions
- Communicate openly with parents, guardians, and fellow staff members
- Adapt activities and lesson plans based on children's interests, abilities, and needs
