In this full-time, on-site role, you will craft engaging learning experiences that translate complex subject matter into clear, effective education for clients across financial markets, life sciences, healthcare, and the public sector.
About the Role
As a Senior Instructional Designer at Intuition, you will lead the design and development of high-impact learning content. Working closely with subject-matter experts and project teams, you will shape how professionals build knowledge across some of the world's most demanding and regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning modules, courses, and supporting resources, grounded in proven learning principles.
- Partner with subject-matter experts to turn technical and specialized content into accessible, learner-focused experiences.
- Apply adult learning theory and instructional design frameworks to structure content for maximum engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, plan, and deliver learning projects on schedule.
- Review and refine content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client objectives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to fellow designers, championing quality standards across deliverables.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a closely related field.
- Strong command of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency with authoring tools and eLearning development platforms.
- Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working on-site in New York City and managing multiple priorities.
