About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization seeking an Ultrasound Applications & Sales Specialist to join their team in Sweden. This is a remote, field-based role supporting healthcare providers across the country with clinical expertise, product demonstrations, and commercial support.

Our client is a global leader in diagnostic imaging technology, and this position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced ultrasound professionals to transition into or advance within a commercial role while maintaining strong clinical engagement.

The successful candidate can be based anywhere in Sweden and will work closely with Nordic and European teams to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer education.

Responsibilities

  • Support territory sales objectives through clinical expertise, customer engagement, and opportunity identification
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and clinical presentations to prospective healthcare customers
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and develop business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, department leaders, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
  • Provide clinical and technical guidance throughout the sales cycle
  • Support customer evaluations, product trials, and purchasing decisions with hands-on expertise
  • Deliver product installations, onboarding sessions, and application training programs
  • Support tender activities including requirements discussions, clinical evaluations, and proposal preparation
  • Develop and execute customer education initiatives to strengthen loyalty and product utilization
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively support retention and account growth
  • Represent the organization at congresses, workshops, training events, and industry meetings
  • Maintain awareness of market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer requirements
  • Provide regular feedback to internal stakeholders on market trends and growth opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Biomedical Science, Clinical Physiology, Sonography, Radiography, Healthcare, or related field
  • Strong clinical ultrasound experience gained within a hospital, imaging centre, or healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated hands-on scanning expertise and understanding of ultrasound workflows
  • Customer-focused mindset with interest in commercial activities and business development
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders across healthcare organizations
  • Good understanding of healthcare processes and purchasing environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Sweden
  • Fluency in Swedish and English

Preferred:

  • Experience within General Imaging Ultrasound applications
  • Previous experience delivering clinical training or education programs
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as Applications Specialist, Clinical Specialist, or Product Specialist
  • Exposure to healthcare procurement processes and public tenders
  • Commercial experience within medical technology (advantageous but not essential)
  • Established network within the Swedish ultrasound community
