About the Role
As a Regional Truck Driver Team Owner Operator with UACL Logistics in Kokomo, Howard County, you'll run your own business behind the wheel while we supply the freight, support, and resources to keep your wheels turning. We're actively bringing on both Van and Flatbed owner operators, and to help you get started, trailer rent is waived for your first six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate your own equipment to haul regional van or flatbed freight safely and on schedule.
- Plan routes efficiently and communicate proactively with dispatch.
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and all applicable safety standards.
- Keep your truck and trailer well-maintained and inspection-ready.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of your trucking business with our team's backing.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience.
- Owner operator with access to a van or flatbed tractor.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional service.
- Ability to work full time on regional lanes.
