As a Travel Trauma Operating Room RN with Skyline Med Staff Nursing, you will provide skilled perioperative care within the operating room of a healthcare facility serving Sierra, Washoe County. The contract spans 13 weeks at 40 hours weekly, scheduled across 10-hour day shifts, with an anticipated start date of July 27, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after operative procedures in a trauma operating room setting.
- Prepare the OR, instruments, and supplies to support safe and efficient surgeries.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing conditions throughout each procedure.
- Document care accurately and uphold facility policies and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Nevada.
- Demonstrated experience in the Operating Room (OR) specialty, ideally including trauma cases.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment working 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
