Position Summary

American Traveler is actively recruiting a Travel RN Medical-Surgical nurse for an assignment in Sierra Bonita beginning July 20, 2026. This 13-week engagement operates on a night shift schedule, with you working 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts. You'll deliver direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit, providing the specialized expertise and compassionate attention this setting demands. This full-time travel nursing role is designed for licensed RNs seeking temporary placement and the flexibility that travel nursing offers.

Core Duties

• Deliver direct patient assessment, monitoring, and evidence-based care in the medical-surgical unit
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy according to physician orders and protocols
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative patient management
• Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment plan, and self-care requirements
• Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Arizona
