The Opportunity
This internship places you at the center of community-level outreach, where you'll help families and organizations discover behavioral health resources. Working alongside LSSI's clinical and communications teams, you'll share the importance of mental health support and build lasting connections with the communities served.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to schools, churches, food banks, and community organizations throughout Cook County
- Develop marketing materials, educational content, and program resources in partnership with communications and behavioral health staff
- Support leadership in crafting messaging that speaks to diverse community audiences
- Build program participation and census growth by promoting LSSI services across partner organizations
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent, clear communication about available services
