About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site travel contract for a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) based in Walla Walla, Washington (99362). Working alongside Skyline Med Staff — recognized by BluePipes as the #1 Best Travel Healthcare Company in 2025 — you will support patients through their rehabilitation journeys while enjoying the variety and adventure that travel healthcare offers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
- Track patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques and at-home care.
- Collaborate with the on-site care team to support positive rehabilitation results.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license eligible for practice in Washington State.
- Completion of an accredited PTA education program.
- Willingness to relocate temporarily for a travel assignment in Walla Walla, WA.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
