Travel Emergency Department RN

GHR Healthcare - Travel is hiring a Travel Emergency Department RN for a full-time position in Methuen, Essex County, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment beginning July 14, 2026, offering 36 hours per week on night shifts in a dynamic Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to individuals presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions
• Monitor vital signs, assess clinical status, and respond rapidly to patient deterioration
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with emergency procedures under physician direction
• Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate seamless patient handoffs and transitions
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient documentation and electronic health records throughout each shift
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort in a high-volume, fast-paced ED environment

What You Bring

• Current RN license in Massachusetts or multi-state compact license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency or acute care nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills under pressure
• Proficiency with electronic health records and medical equipment commonly used in Emergency Departments
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse clinical teams
• Physical capability to lift patients, stand for extended periods, and move freely during 12-hour shifts
• Adaptability, dependability, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered emergency care
