GHR Healthcare - Travel is hiring a full-time Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Kansas City, Jackson County. This 13-week travel position begins July 20, 2026 and pays $2,268 per week.

What This Role Involves

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician, you'll provide critical technical support in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular environment where skill and attention directly influence patient outcomes. Working day shifts of 8 hours each, 36 hours weekly, you'll partner with interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular nurses to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures that demand precision and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, prepare, and sterilize specialized cardiac catheterization instruments and equipment before each procedure
• Monitor patient vital signs continuously and document clinical observations throughout interventional cases
• Position patients appropriately, manage sterile fields, and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Anticipate physician needs by passing instruments, managing contrast delivery, and guiding procedural workflow
• Operate diagnostic imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems, troubleshooting equipment to maintain clinical efficiency
• Maintain a well-organized cath lab environment and contribute to safe, compliant daily operations

Requirements

• Current cardiac catheterization technician certification or equivalent clinical credential
• Documented experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or interventional cardiology setting
• Active ACLS and current BLS certification
• Ability to work extended periods on your feet in a dynamic clinical team
• Strong technical aptitude, procedural knowledge, and unwavering focus on patient safety
• Flexibility to work in a travel assignment and adapt quickly to new healthcare settings
