What This Role Involves
The role involves providing critical care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. You will be responsible for performing various procedures and treatments related to cardiac catheterization under the direction of a physician. What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a sterile environment, operate medical equipment, and follow strict protocols to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Nursing Degree: Hold an RN license in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure.
- Certification: Current BLS certification is required. Additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS are preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is highly desirable.
- Shift Work: You will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks.
