About the Role

This position offers full-time employment with no remote work options. The role involves working exclusively during day shifts, specifically 3x12's, 6 days call every 5 weeks; 4x10's, 8 days call every 5 weeks; and 5x8's, 8 days call every 5 weeks, with PRN (as needed) availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab department during assigned shifts
• Assist with patient preparation for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
• Ensure a safe and clean environment in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Participate in call duties, including 6 days every 5 weeks for 12-hour shifts, 8 days every 5 weeks for 10-hour shifts, and 8 days every 5 weeks for 8-hour shifts

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including call duties as outlined above
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
