The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our float pool team at Glens Falls Hospital in Allegany, New York. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the healthcare needs of our community.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in various departments as needed, including but not limited to medical/surgical units, emergency services, and intensive care units.
• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate interventions under the direction of a physician or advanced practice provider.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, treatments, and observations.

Qualifications

• NYS RN license required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed for the float pool schedule.
