About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room at Aspirus Tomahawk. This is a full-time position located in Jersey, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an ER RN, with charge nurse shifts included. A current RN license, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications are required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients in the Emergency Room to determine their medical needs
- Treating minor injuries and illnesses as well as managing critical care situations
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and support staff
- Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Assisting in the development of treatment plans for patients under your care
What You Bring
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience with EPIC software is highly desirable as it is required for this position.
