About This Position
Terraces at Summitview, a HumanGood senior living community, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, resident-centered care by assessing residents, administering medications, and coordinating individualized care plans that promote dignity, safety, and life enrichment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing residents' health needs and developing personalized care plans
- Administering medications as prescribed by a physician
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Supervising support staff and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Documenting patient care activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
What You Bring
- A current Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington, DC
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a long-term care facility or senior living community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
