Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab

About the Role

You'll provide specialized nursing care in our busy cardiac cath lab, where every shift requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and compassion for cardiac patients. Working 4 ten-hour shifts per week (including on-call availability, weekends, and holidays), you'll be part of a collaborative team delivering both diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary interventions with thorough education and support
• Monitor hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and oxygen saturation throughout procedures
• Assist physicians and interventional cardiologists during diagnostic catheterization and therapeutic interventions
• Maintain sterile technique, manage the sterile field, and handle specialized cardiac equipment safely
• Administer medications per protocol and respond immediately to patient complications or hemodynamic changes
• Provide post-procedure assessments, patient education, and discharge instructions
• Document care accurately and communicate findings to the care team
• Uphold infection control, radiation safety, and standard precautions

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted RN license in Pennsylvania
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in acute care, critical care, or procedural nursing settings
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
• Competence with arterial access, central lines, and invasive monitoring
• Strong team communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
