Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing digital marketing agency in Hamburg that specializes in social media strategies for mid-sized companies. As a Trainee Key Account Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between agency clients and the internal marketing team. This is a career-entry position—no prior experience required.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with established agency clients across various industries
• Capturing client requirements and presenting marketing strategy recommendations
• Planning and coordinating online marketing campaign projects internally, delegating tasks to specialized team members
• Conducting onboarding strategy sessions with new clients to ensure successful collaboration from day one
• Leading regular feedback meetings with clients to review campaign performance and partnership progress
• Ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
• Responding to client inquiries about campaigns and collaboration via phone and email
• Providing email support for incoming requests from existing clients

What We're Looking For

Our client welcomes career changers and provides comprehensive training during a 2–4 month onboarding period. You'll learn everything needed for the role, including social media marketing fundamentals.

Required qualifications:

• Completed vocational training (Berufsausbildung) or university degree in any field
• Analytical, methodical, and structured thinking with strong organizational skills
• Results-oriented and solution-focused mindset with pronounced team orientation
• Confident presence paired with independent working style and high communication competence
• Ability to follow established processes consistently
• Quick comprehension and high level of discipline
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to precision
• Clean, error-free written German
• Ability to perform well under pressure

Preferred but not required:

• Prior experience in project management, marketing, or account management
• Familiarity with paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
