TN Maintenance Technician

Prestage is seeking a dedicated TN Maintenance Technician to join our team in Eagle Grove, Iowa. In this full-time position, you'll keep our operations running smoothly by performing critical maintenance work that directly supports our production facility and equipment.

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician at Prestage, you'll be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems that keep our facility operating at peak efficiency. This role requires strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as part of a maintenance team. You'll support our production operations in Eagle Grove by responding to maintenance requests, conducting routine inspections, and executing repairs that minimize downtime and ensure workplace safety.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities and equipment status
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair calls
• Follow lockout-tagout procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
• Maintain equipment logbooks and communicate maintenance needs to supervisors
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize equipment downtime

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to safety
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship a plus
• Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled shifts
